Amelia| PR and Marketing Executive

This week we are introducing you to team member Amelia, our PR & Marketing Executive. Amelia started working part time for Also Home before Christmas to assist with Marketing the brand locally and through the showroom. Alongside this she work on National PR for us. Amelia comes from a very experienced Sales and Marketing background from some of London’s top hotels. Amelia and Anna met at the school gate and became firm friends. It’s not always easy mixing friendship and work, but with some friends you just know it is possible.

As part of the team, she spends her time working for Also Home developing relationships with journalists and stylists and looking out for opportunities to share and showcase our collection with the Press. She keeps track of when our products have been featured and writes our Press Releases and manages our database of images for the Press to use.

She also covers the role of promoting our showroom and encouraging people to ‘pop’ in for a shop in our showroom and a cuppa in the Milk Churn Cafe next door.  A recent venture we have started are our ‘Private Shopping Events’ which Amelia organises and plans. These shopping events offer a private opportunity to shop with a group of friends in our beautiful showroom, receive a discount and enjoy some bubbly and nibbles. The host organising and gathering their friends also receives a % of the sales to enjoy spending at Also Home.

Amelia’s favourite products in our collection are our blue and white hand painted dinner plates and bowls.

Amelia is a wife and mum to two children and lives in Surrey in a beautiful Georgian house which she is putting her creative touches into. When not working behind the scenes on our website or in our showroom, she is often planning the latest interior design project for her house!
