Anna | Owner and Founder

Recently we all took part in a photo shoot at The Old Brickworks, Rudgwick where we have our offices and warehouse. The aim of this project is to introduce you to the team, to put faces to names and also give a shout out to the amazing team who make Also Home the brand and business that it is today.

So to start off, we have Anna.

Anna launched Also Home in May 2008. She trained as a textile designer at Winchester School of Art and even from a young age, had a love of texture, colour and design.

Anna is mother to J1, wife to Jeff and step-mum to J2 and J3. Yes, in her house she is outnumbered by names beginning with J!

She is also the proud owner of her wonderful three legged dog Asia – a very important part of the team who you will be meeting soon on this blog!

Anna likes to be known as the tea-lady rather than the Owner of the business having never imagined she would be a business owner or boss! Her choice of drink is tea – but these days for her it’s a herbal tea or green tea.

As a creative and designer, Anna likes to get stuck in and is often found knee deep in product, paint or numbers – something she has had to learn to love through running the business.

Anna is also known as ‘the juggler’ having to wear many hats running the business, being a wife, dog walker (!) and mother.

Her favourite verse is

‘She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.’ Proverbs 31 v 25.

Her favourite colour is chartreuse.
Her favourite city is Hanoi from the many times she has travelled there through work and her favourite food is Pho from Vietnam.
