We wanted to introduce you to our new speckled stoneware collection – Kivi (which means ‘pebble’ in Finnish).

Using our best-selling shapes, the new speckled stoneware collection, Kivi is a simple organic design. Featuring a hand dipped, white glaze with natural speckle that leaves the beautiful biscuit coloured stoneware on show, it’s the perfect range for your stylish everyday routine. It’s beautiful enough to have on display, yet functional for any meal of the day.

We wanted to create a new dining range which was season-less, but still special. The speckled stoneware is subtle and sweet, just the right amount of detail. We decided to leave the raw clay exposed on the mugs and bowls, making it stand out on the shelf and add a gorgeous natural texture to the collection. Every piece is unique and individual due to the hand finishing and organic nature of this range and they all vary ever-so-slightly. Our dining ranges are always best sellers here at ALSO Home so it was an easy design decision to create a new range in the same best selling shape.

An ALSO Home exclusive design, the beautiful Kivi speckled stoneware has a natural, organic shape with a base in a complementary earthy tone. Made in Portugal, the durable stoneware is part of the Kivi range of tableware and, due to the reactive glaze, no two pieces are alike. This range, along with the rest of the Spring 19 Collection was inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle. Food is a huge part of their lifestyle, being integral to both their health, but also their social activities.
