Featured Stockist – Jo & Co Home, Cornwall

A little late for May, but worth the words, our featured stockist spotlight this month is in sunny Cornwall – allow us to introduce your new must-visit store, Jo & Co Home.

Based just outside of Padstow (Cornwall), Jo & Co Home is a shop that you can’t help but fall in love with when you walk through the doors. The perfect lifestyle store for stylish, laid back living. Curated by Joanna Eldridge, this family run lifestyle store stocks everything from candles, to cushions, sofas to scarves and much more in between. We caught up with Jo to chat all things Cornwall.

Where is the best place for brunch or just a quick coffee?

Strong Adolfos  is run by John & Mathilda. It’s just a lovely place to relax and grab an amazing lunch or brunch. They always have a really interesting menu which changes all the time.  They also have a great view over the fields which makes it a lovely relaxing place to be.

Cornwall has plenty of beautiful beaches, which would you say is the best?

We live right next to Constantine in North Cornwall so its our go-to beach for the kids. It’s so vast and the view from the Headland is incredible.

Best candle lit dinner hot spot?
I love Appletons at the Vineyard. The food is just incredible.

Best Cornish Pasty?

I don’t really eat them, I’m a Scone and Jam girl! I’ve got such a sweet tooth.

Are there any hidden gems locally?

I really love going down to Mother Ivey’s Bay. It’s so secluded and it looks amazing all year round.

  • I really like making a special trip down to The Sorting Office in St Agnes for Coffee and Cake.
  • Lanhydrock is an amazing National Trust property, with a huge park. We really enjoy taking the children here on a weekend and they really enjoy the bike trails.
  • We’re a bit spoilt here at Hawksfield Cornwall, and although I work here we find it hard not to come back on the weekend for food at Strong Adolfos, nibbles from The Ark Deli and some fresh flowers at Wadebridge Flowers.
  • We don’t get much time to shop, but if we get the chance to have a day out, I like to visit Port of Call and Academy in St Ives. Their shop always looks gorgeous and they have some great gifts too.

If you fancy a little holiday, a break away from the bustle, Hawksfield is well worth a visit. If you like Jo’s style, she even has her own little Airbnb decked out in all the products she sells in the shop. Now we’ve given you the places the visit, the shops to spend in and where to stay you really have no excuses not to visit this beautiful part of the country!
