Behind the Scenes – the making of the Andas throw (and subsequently cushion).
All our products carry a story, so we thought we should share with you how some of our gorgeous piece made their way into our range.
On a sourcing trip to India, Anna discovered what looked like a dirty messy pile of fabric in the corner of a factory.
The workers were so bemused at Anna’s interest in this seemingly ‘unwanted’ fabric. She sat with them talking them through how she wanted to create this throw and a matching cushion, ensuring that during the making process, it retained it’s incredible softness, simplicity and style. With a few tweaks, the Andas cushion and throw were created.
The Andas range celebrates the beauty in simplicity. The washed cotton throw and cushion are super soft and lightweight making them the perfect summer essential. Traditionally, these throws are draped over the ends of beds, but we won’t tell anyone if you’d prefer it to decorate your sofa or even garden!
There is a certain charm surrounding the Andas range, having been picked up from Anna’s travels. It’s a favourite among the staff having fallen in love with the soft touch of this range and it’s tempting price point!
