CARING FOR YOUR BED LINEN

All our bed linen and accessories are carefully and lovingly produced for us by carefully selected artisans and partners around the world. We hope when you receive your products you will appreciate the care and attention that has gone into these products, many of which are hand crafted pieces. Every piece is individual and a small work of art and so some slight variations may occur. We hope you will see this as part of the charm of the product and love them as much as we do.

In order for you to look after your bed linen and accessories as carefully as possible we would like to suggest the following tips

Ensure you follow the care instructions on the label inside the products:

  • Use a colour safe detergent for coloured embroidery
  • Do not leave the bed linen in the washing machine once the cycle is finished
  • Do not over spin
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Hang the bed linen carefully when drying
  • To protect coloured embroidery from fading, avoid strong sunlight
  • Do not iron until completely dry, ironing while still damp can cause the embroidery to fade
  • Iron around the embroidery not directly on it
  • Fold and store your bed linen flat
  • Use starch to protect the fabric and give a crisp finish
  • Store in a fabric bag or an airing cupboard
  • Keep dark coloured fabrics away from light coloured fabrics when damp.

    Due to the hand crafted nature of our ceramics, colours and glazes may vary from item to item. We hope when you receive your products you will appreciate the care and attention that has gone into these hand crafted pieces. Every piece is individual so some slight variations may occur.     Our products are dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

    CARING FOR YOUR BASKETWARE

    As with all our products, our basketware is hand crafted. We hope when you receive your products you will appreciate the care and attention that has gone into these hand crafted pieces. Every piece is individual so some slight variations may occur. We hope you will see this as part of the charm of the product and love them as much as we do.

    We recommend when lifting and carrying your baskets with heavy items in them, that you carry them from the bottom rather than the handles.
